Good Luck JC/Elder Tucker!

Zack and JC Tucker so many years ago! JC, I mean Elder Tucker will be leaving on his mission in a couple weeks! So here's a word from Elder Holladay...

Hey Mom!

That is so cool that Kyle is going to the Temple next Tuesday! I'm way excited for him! Let me know how it goes! I hope he goes a few times too! He can go with his parents all the time now!

Conference was awesome! I realize that general conference means so much more when you know what they're talking about. I look forward to every general conference now. I really loved Elder Holland's talk. My favorite speakers are Elder Holland, President Uchtdorf, President Eyring, President Monson, Elder Bednar, Elder Oaks, and Elder Nelson. And Elder Christensen is getting up there too. I learned a lot. Good luck with your experiment! Let me know the results if you can.

This week Bishop Drinkwater was released as Bishop and was called to be a counselor to President Winegar. Bishop McNiven was called to be the bishop of the Sewell ward. Everyone is excited for the new change. They ordained and set apart Bishop McNiven right after Sacrament meeting so everyone could see. It was unusual, but it was a good experience to feel the spirit testify that he was supposed to be the bishop.

The Sisters moved in last Thursday. Sis. Largo from Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Sis. Fernelius from Layton, Utah. Its pretty funny because earlier this year, I served in the same ward as Sister Largo but she was a greenie. Now she's training a greenie. It's interesting how the tides have turned. Oh and last night, I learned that Sis. Largo is a descendant from the Lamanites. Which is pretty cool because in the Doctrine and Covenants it talks about sending missionaries to preach to the Lamanites, and here she is preaching to the Gentiles. Cool huh?

We're moving to South Jersey next Wednesday, so we won't be at our current address. I think President Wineger is trying to keep us on our toes until the day before we move(or the day of). There are 4 possible places we can go that seem the most logical.

1. We move into a different apartment.

2. We move in with a member(s).

3. The Sisters move in with a member and we take the Pitman apartment.

4. We go to North Lawrenceville.(just as President Winegar told us the first time) As soon as I know the exact location of our next humble abode, I'll be sure let you know. The following Wednesday we have to clean the apartment before it closes.

Tell Dad he's precious for me.

9 months left... that's only 6 transfers. That's too soon. There's too much to do and not enough time to do it. Time has flown by SOOOOOOO fast. Super fast. I can't believe I only have 9 months left... Scary!

Well that's all the time we have this week. Stay tuned next week for more exciting adventures with Elder Holladay!

Love,

Zack

Thanks! I haven't gotten any new pics of him and I keep forgetting to ask him for some. I can't believe he only has 9 months left!

I remember that time on my mission, the sense of urgency, knowing it was coming time to go home but wanting to stay. Good times!
