I took a trip to New York to see Dad, Uncle Phil, Aunt Dorothy and Uncle Jason. This is a picture of dad.

This is a river near dad's house. Dad said that when it rains alot, they let water out of the dam and all the rocks are completely covered. The bridge is for trains.

This bridge was down a hidden lane by the monument. We missed it the first time and I made Dad go back so I could ask directions.
It was so cool to walk across this bridge that Joseph's parents crossed many times while visiting Lucy's parents.

Rose, this is such a cool update, thank you for sharing. That makes me want to go back there now. How far away is Dad's place from the Smith farm?
It was about a 2 hour drive (I don't count trips in miles, just driving time. I don't care how far it is, I just want to know how long it takes to get there.). I thought I might get bored being there a whole week, but between dad and Uncle Phil and Uncle Jason, my week was full. At the end of my stay they were saying: I wish you could stay longer, I wanted to take you here or there.
FYI: Uncle Phil is trying to talk dad into coming out the last week of May, first week of June. If any of you want to ask dad to come, I think we can talk him into it this time.
